Child Rights Governance

An important part of our child rights governance work has been the participation and leadership of the children themselves. To this end, we have involved children in planning and implementation of activities and have supported child-led activities empowering children to stand for their rights.

Furthermore, we are increasing awareness and capacity of children and civil society actors to push realization of children's rights and their participation in decision making processes. Save the Children has been actively collaborating with central and local government bodies, international and national non-governmental organizations and agencies to protect children's rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
