Livelihood Improvement

While realizing the importance of the above themes, Save the Children is giving high importance to livelihood development as a cross-cutting theme and a foundation to ensure well-being of children and their families. We support people youth and adults with disabilities in getting marketable skills for entering job markets, as well as work with employers to secure their work placement and follow-up job coaching and mentoring. Short and long-term income generation, business development and social partnership models represent the type of interventions that we have been applying to support vulnerable populations including refugees and people with disabilities.
